Day 0: Arrival to Iraq

We will arrive in Iraq, ready to embark on an unforgettable journey through this ancient land. After checking into our accommodations, we'll have the evening free to rest or explore our surroundings.

Day 1: Baghdad

Our adventure begins in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. We'll start our day at the National Museum, home to an extensive collection of artifacts that span Iraq's rich history. Next, we'll stroll down the famous Mutanabbi Street, a historic hub for booksellers and intellectuals. Afterward, we'll visit Tahrir Square, a symbol of modern Iraqi history and a focal point for social and political movements. We'll end our day at the Martyrs Monument, a striking tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives in the Iran-Iraq War.

Day 2: Karbala & Babylon

Today, we travel to Karbala and Babylon. Our first stop is the Ukhaidar Fortress, a stunning example of medieval Islamic architecture. In Karbala, we'll visit the revered Shrines and Museum, significant sites for Muslims. We'll then head to the ancient city of Babylon, where we'll explore the ruins of Nebuchadnezzar's Palace, gaining insight into one of the world's greatest ancient civilizations.

Karbala

Day 3: Kifl and Najaf

Our journey continues to Kifl and Najaf. We'll start at the Imam Ali Shrine, a holy site for Muslims and a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. We'll also visit Masjid al Kufa, another significant religious site. In Kifl, we'll explore the ancient Jewish city associated with Prophet Ezekiel and wander through the Jewish Bazaar of Daniel, offering a glimpse into Iraq's diverse historical heritage.

Day 4: Samawa & Nasiriyah

We will venture to Samawa and Nasiriyah, focusing on some of the oldest cities known to humanity. Our first stop is the archaeological city of Uruk, the oldest recorded city and considered the birthplace of civilization. We will then visit the ancient city of Ur, home to the famous Ziggurat of Ur. Our day concludes with a visit to the Mesopotamian Marshes, a unique ecosystem that has supported human life for millennia.

In Basra, we'll explore its museums, which house artifacts and exhibits showcasing the region's rich cultural and historical heritage. We will witness the confluence of the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, a geographical marvel that has been vital to the region's history. We'll also visit the Adam Tree of Knowledge, steeped in local legend and lore.

Day 6: Basra

Today is dedicated to further archaeological and ancient explorations in and around Basra. We'll have the opportunity to delve deeper into the region's past, visiting lesser-known sites and uncovering the stories of ancient civilizations that once thrived here.

Day 7: Baghdad

We return to Baghdad for a modern exploration of the city. We'll have time to visit contemporary landmarks, explore bustling markets, and perhaps enjoy some local cuisine. Our journey concludes with our departure, taking with us memories of Iraq's rich history, culture, and hospitality.
